4940 meter Peak Challenge! The Ali Wind Measurement Project of Movelaser is running stably

Recently, the wind measurement project of Nanjing Movelaser Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Movelaser) in Gaize County, Ali Prefecture, Xizang Autonomous Region has been successfully put into operation, marking that the company's technical strength and professional ability in the extreme environment of high altitude has been verified again.

Gaize County is located in the eastern part of Ali Prefecture, Xizang, and the hinterland of the northern Tibetan plateau. It has a plateau sub cold arid plateau monsoon climate, and is rich in wind energy resources. The Movelaser Technology Team has decided to use the self-developed Molas B300 ground-based wind measurement lidar based on project requirements and actual site conditions to quickly carry out preliminary wind resource assessment work. The team fully considered the climate characteristics of the project area, wind meteorological data, and the development needs of the wind power project in the later stage, and finally selected the top of a high mountain with an altitude of 4940 meters as the wind measurement point. The location is surrounded by plains and unobstructed, providing ideal conditions for wind measurement work.

In the face of multiple challenges such as low air pressure, oxygen deficiency, and blocked roads, the technical team of Movelaser fearlessly completed the installation and commissioning of wind measurement equipment, solar power supply system, and protective facilities in just one week. This achievement not only reflects the resilience and fighting spirit of the Movelaser team, but also highlights its ability to respond quickly and execute efficiently in extreme environments. Currently, the wind measurement equipment is running stably and meets customer expectations.

The Molas B300 ground-based wind measurement lidar is based on the Doppler frequency effect and VAD scanning vector synthesis technology. It can accurately measure the wind speed and direction within a range of 30-300 meters directly above the radar, and obtain real-time parameters such as temperature, humidity, and air pressure through sensor modules. It has significant advantages such as high measurement accuracy, stable system performance, easy maintenance, secure and reliable data, and flexible deployment. It can accurately complete wind resource assessment work and provide accurate and reliable data support for the planning and construction of wind farms.
