Project Background:
As the world's largest offshore wind power developer, Woxu Energy has installed more than a quarter of the world's total offshore wind power capacity. In 2022, Woxu Energy won the title of "The World's Most sustainable Energy Company", and was listed on the CLIMATE Change A List, and is recognized as A global leader in climate action. In view of the strong demand of offshore wind power wind measurement, Woxu Energy and our company will start the wind measurement lidar project docking from 2021. This is the first cooperation project on wind measuring lidar between Muradium laser and Woxu Energy, which will lay a solid foundation for the subsequent cooperation between the two sides.
Project Overview:
The project is located in the Danish National Large fan Test Center of ø Sterild in North Jutland Peninsula, about 3.9 km offshore. Lidar was compared with a 244-meter wind tower with levels of 10, 40, 50, 70, 106, 140, 178, 210 and 244 meters.
The lidar under test was located between 11.5 meters and 15.5 meters west of the north face of the wind tower. The location was chosen to maximize the correlation between the lidar and the wind tower, while avoiding the laser beam of the lidar being obscured at any location by the wind tower and its cable.

Project Effect:
After about six months of rigorous testing, Molas B300M completed this task with outstanding performance and successfully passed the acceptance of Woxu Energy. The correlation R² between radar data and wind cup anemometer data is above 0.9984 (FIG. 4), and the overall data efficiency is above 99% (FIG. 5). This project demonstrates the advantages of Molas B300M's high measurement accuracy, high data efficiency and stable system performance during the execution of the offshore wind measurement project.
